Privacy Notice
This notice describes what jorissenconsult.com collects, why, and what you can control. It covers this website. Services delivered under a signed engagement are governed by that agreement.
1. The short version
- We run a small amount of first-party analytics. It is off until you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
- If you submit a form, we keep what you send so we can reply. That happens whether or not you accept analytics — you asked us to contact you.
2. Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept, we record the following about your visit. There is no advertising network involved and no cross-site tracking.

The session identifier is stored in sessionStorage and is discarded when you close the tab. It is not a cookie, is not shared across tabs or sites, and is not linked to your identity.
Decline and none of this runs. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing is transmitted.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is one click, exactly like giving it.
3. Forms you choose to submit
When you send a contact, consultation or intake form, we receive what you typed — typically your name, email address, and any company, phone number and message you provide — so we can respond.
This is not covered by the analytics choice above: submitting the form is the request. Declining analytics does not prevent you contacting us.
Submissions are delivered to a Google Workspace account operated by Jorissen Consultation Services.
If the network fails mid-send, the submission is held in your browser only until it can be delivered, then removed. Nothing is retained locally once a submission has gone through.
4. Server logs
The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which records standard request logs including IP address, user agent and timestamp. These are generated by the hosting platform for security and operations and are not affected by your analytics choice.
5. Authenticated areas
The intranet, client portal and security-operations areas require a Google Workspace sign-in. They carry no visitor analytics at all. Data handled there belongs to the relevant engagement and is governed by that agreement.
6. Retention
- Analytics: aggregate visit records, kept while useful for operating the site.
- Form submissions: kept as business correspondence for as long as needed to serve the enquiry and meet record-keeping obligations.
- On your device: your consent choice, and any submission still waiting to be delivered. Nothing else. Both are cleared when you clear site data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

8. Third parties
- Google (Firebase Hosting, Apps Script, Workspace) — hosting, form delivery and storage.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are requested from Google's servers, which necessarily discloses your IP address to Google to serve them.
- Stripe — payment processing, only if you subscribe to a paid product. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
9. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
Material changes to what we collect will be reflected here, and the consent choice will be requested again where the change requires it.
